Lovely international ultimate frisbee tournament in Bulgaria

UPDATE: I would like to inform you all that due to the very busy period and conflicting schedules, many of the intended teams were not able to commit to the tournament. For this reason we are cancelling the event on the 2nd and 3rd of July and will soon look to reschedule. We will update you as soon as there is any news on the matter or when we are able to schedule new dates for the tournament. We wish you all the best for the summer! ---------------------------------------------------------- Dear Ultimate Enthusiasts & Frisbee Friends, It is an immense pleasure to make the official announcement for the upcoming special anniversary of Disc of Peace. The 10th edition of our beloved tournament will take place in Sofia on the 2nd and 3rd of July and promises to be more exciting, bigger and better than any of the previous versions. The field is grass and the format is 7v7 loose mixed. Of course, we will once again be bringing the themed Ultimate fun right to the doorstop of all participants. Given the special anniversary, this year’s Disc of Peace will be tied together with a ‘Family Reunion’ theme. Over the years, we have formed everlasting bonds with teams and players from all across the globe. But the relationships we cultivate at Disc of Peace are not just friendship, they are family. To signify this joining of blood, body and soul, we have memorialized all teams who have ever participated in our beautiful Family Tree. As our family, we would love to have you join us and celebrate this anniversary together with us. We extend a special invitation to all of you to dare the trip again and to party & play with us once more. Naturally, we also look forward to growing the Disc of Peace Family, so if you want to marry into the Family and get on our Family Tree, you are also more than welcome to register. You should only be careful of the overprotective uncles and grandpas, though, because they can get very unpredictable after a few drinks at the party. ? As mandated by tradition, there is a special sign-up challenge for all teams that wish to participate in the tournament. To complete the registration, follow the steps below: 1. Open your dusty old family albums and make a collage of the best, most exciting, most fun pictures of your team. 2. Post your collage on the Disc of Peace facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/discofpeace) for everyone to enjoy and to raise the hype for our Family Reunion. Better hurry, because no photo album has unlimited space for pictures and as much as we would like to accommodate all and celebrate 10 years of Disc of Peace together, there is a limit to how many teams may join.
