Eric Arons SF Rec Summer League is back! The league hosts adult ultimate players of all experience levels for spirited summer league play. 

Schedule, Game Times and Location

The league runs on Tuesday and Thursday nights, June 15 through August 26, and there are no games on June 29 and July 1. Players have games on Tuesday nights or Thursday nights, depending on which night they sign-up for during registration. Games are held at Golden Gate Park Polo Fields. All games run from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

The league registration includes a custom BADA neckie and shirt.

Health and Safety Information

The league's top priority is player safety. With that in mind, the league will always follow the current state and local public health guidelines – in addition to BADA's return to play health and safety policies. Players must comply with these guidelines to participate in the league.

Registration

The discounted, early bird registration period opens on May 21 at 12:00 Noon PST, and it runs through May 31. The regular registration period starts on June 1.

Please note the important registration policies for men-matching players:

• During the first week of registration (May 21 though May 27), men-matching players who register in a group (also known as baggage) with women-matching players will be accepted into the league. It's recommended to have women-matching players initiate the registration process for the groups. If men-matching players initiate the registration process for the groups, the registration for the men-matching players in the groups will be pending until the women-matching players complete their registrations. Group sizes are limited to two people per group. Please contact  with any questions.
  
  
• Men-matching players who register individually (not as a group with women-matching players) during the first week of registration will initially be placed on the wait list. Individual men-matching players will be moved from the wait list into the league via a lottery system after May 27.
  
  
• Group registrations of two men-matching players will only be awarded spots in the league if both baggaged players are awarded spots in the league via the lottery after May 27.
  
  
• The registration status for men-matching players that sign-up for both Tuesday nights and Thursday nights is pending based on registration demand and public health guidelines prior to the start of the season.

The goal of these policies is to encourage women-matching players to register for the league and to have a fair process for men-matching players to get into the league. If you have any questions on this registration process, please contact

League Format 

The league offers 7vs.7 mixed gender league format, with a 1:3:3 gender ratio for adult ultimate players of all experience levels. Individuals register and get placed on teams for the season.

Please note that the gender ratio rules for the league will depend on the number of league registrants.

Spirit of the Game

Bay Area Disc Association has a friendly and inclusive culture around Spirit of the Game, and it is our expectation that all league participants act accordingly. As a beginner-friendly league, we expect all players to show good sportsmanship, make honest calls, discuss rule/call disagreements calmly, and include everyone on the field in the game play regardless of skill level.

Financial Aid

Please complete the financial aid application if you are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford fees for participation in a Bay Area Disc program. Bay Area Disc has limited funds to distribute in financial aid and will not be able to fund 100% of all applicants’ requests. Please be mindful of this when making requests. A committee consisting of the Bay Area Disc's Executive Director and Director of Adult Programs will review your request and inform you of their decision. Applications should be submitted prior to the start date of the program.
