Love At First Flight is a tournament that was created in 2008 to give starting players and teams the opportunity to play competitive Ultimate at their own level.
To create such a fair tournament, the following players can attend LAFF:
โด Male players: maximum three years of experience
โด Female players: no experience restriction
โด Youth players (under 18): no experience restriction
Of course, these restrictions can also be mixed: for example, your team may consist of two U18 players who already play five years, three 26 year old players who have one year of Ultimate experience and a 30 year old girl whoโs been playing for over 12 years.
If you are lucky enough to be too experienced, youโre welcome to join our tournament as a guest, a coach or even as a player in the โStill In Love divisionโ (see below)!
With LAFF, we want to create an experience thatโs more than just an Ultimate tournament.
We want to charm you, to surprise you, to give you the feeling you never want LAFF to end!

LAFF always takes place during the first weekend of August, so make sure to highlight that weekend in your agenda! For 2024, it will be from Friday evening 02/08 until Sunday afternoon 04/08.

LAFF has an open, mixed and SIL division! Each division plays 5 vs 5 on lush fields of grass of 75 by 25 meters.
The Still In Love division is a loose mixed (!) division for teams that played LAFF before but exceed the experience restriction. Do you want to relive that unique LAFF feeling? Make sure to sign up for this special division then!

The player fee includes a welcome drink on Friday evening, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, a lunch on Saturday and Sunday, dinner on Saturday evening, an awesome player gift and lots of surprises!

Bring your own tents to sleep in, weโll transform the campsite into a love nest (exclusive for โLove at First Flightโ-participants)! For teams traveling by plane we can arrange some on-site tents. For people want more luxury (or extra nights) there also is a hostel nearby (check it out here), but be careful, you might miss out on some fun at the campsite!
