PHUL Fall League is a school-based league open to high school ultimate frisbee teams in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. There will be an Open (Gender) Division and a Girls Division if there is enough interest!
Time frame: Each team will have ~1 game/week from September - October.
Registration:
Team registration will open on August 1st and close on August 31st. One person per school/team should register for the entire team. Please make sure team name includes school and gender.
Once a team is registered, each player must have an account on the Pittsburgh Ultimate website, register online for the 2021 PHUL Fall League, and pay for the $10 year-long Pittsburgh Ultimate membership. Players who have participated in a Pittsburgh Ultimate event previously in 2021 will not need to pay for the membership again, but will need to register for this particular league.
Game Times and Locations are determined by your team. Opponents are determined by PHUL.
Cost: $300/team for Open Division teams, FREE for Girls Division teams (memberships still required). Discounts for new teams are available if needed.
Merch: Every team will receive 6 team discs
League Rules
- Use USA Ultimate 11th Edition rules.
- There must be an adult (25+ or an approved coach) at every game for each team.
- Games will be played to 15, win by 2, or follow the cap rules listed below.
- No game will be played for more than 17 points, (ie 17-16 is a winning score).
- After 90 minutes, a hard time cap goes on. Teams should finish the current point. Whichever team holds the lead wins. If the scores are tied, play one more tie-breaking point. THERE IS NO SOFT CAP.
- Each team has 2 time-outs per half.
- Captains are required to report scores on the website after each game. Forfeits should be recorded as a F-L win.
