COVID Guidelines/Precautions:
- VACCINATIONS:
- Maine Ultimate takes seriously all of our player's safety as well as our social responsibility to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. Therefore:
- All players will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by the start of the league (outside of medical exemptions). For questions or concerns about this policy, please contact league organizer, Joe Newlin, at .

- MASKING (UPDATE):
- Due to recent updated guidelines from USAU, we will not be requiring masks for league play unless state or local direction changes. (Link)
Format:
- Mixed Division will be 7v7 with either 4 women and 3 men or 4 men and 3 women on the field at a time for each team, games to 15.
- Men's Division will be played 7v7, games to 15.
- Games start at 6:30PM.
- Players are able to have one additional player as "baggage" (linked to them) when registering. This is done in the Group Registration section. When linking to someone else, please make sure to select the correct Maine Ultimate Account as sometimes people have multiple and that hinders our process.
Cost:
- New Player - $60
- Men's Division - $70
- Mixed Division - $85
We never want cost to be a prohibitive factor in anyone's ability to play in the leagues. If it is outside of your budget, reach out to me, and we can always make something work!
Cost covers:
- 16 league games
- Team Jersey
- Organized Post Games (after most summer league games there is a dedicated bar that many players go afterwards. Activities may include: trivia, karaoke, streaming of taped summer league games).
- Tournament (including catered lunch)
Fields:
- All games will take place at Wainwright fields in South Portland.

How Registration Works:
Men's Division:
- Accepted Immediately: all players.
Mixed Division:
- Accepted Immediately:
- Any women's eligible player and their "baggage" (linked players – if any).
- Men who are linked to women will initially be waitlisted until I can manually "accept" the link on the back-end. Apologies for any confusion this causes. If it has been more than a couple days and your link has not been accepted, please reach out!
- Pending until Lottery:
- Men registering for the mixed division but not linked with a woman will be waitlisted and then will be entered into the mixed lottery on May 30th.
- Men who do not receive a spot in the lottery will be automatically sorted into the Men's Division with the option to opt-out.

The Mixed Lottery System is intended to promote fair access to the Portland Adult Summer League as we pursue a balanced and equitable playing experience for all players over time. Availability for men's players will scale depending on women's-eligible participation totals.
Refund Policy:
- May 13th - June 1st - 50% Refund
- After June 1st - No refund
