The biggest frisbee event since lockdown- Sheffield Beginners is back! Let’s see who’s been mastering 2m long throws when we see each other for a packed weekend of fun! We have provisionally booked the 17/18th October as the dates; however, this is obviously subject to change. We will be keeping an eye on advice from government, UKU, and the venue hosts, Ponds Forge. So see this as more of a registration of interest. As usual it is an experienced and beginner’s tournament with loose mixed rules, meaning experienced teams are expected to field at least two of each gender, and beginners’ teams expected to play at least one female. Accommodation as always is provided by the wonderful members of the club for free, but as usual any gifts for your host are greatly appreciated. The entry cost per team will be £140, however there is no need to pay yet. SheffBegs is traditionally very popular, so priority will go to those taking beginner and experienced teams, and obviously earlier entries won’t hurt your chances.
