Welcome to the acceptance page for the YCC travel team. There is a good amount of information that we will need from you in order to be ready to travel to Randall's Island, NY. In the registration, there will be a survey that will guide you through the majority of this information. Please answer as to the best of your knowledge.

TRAVEL TEAM COST? - $350 for U20 teams and $175 for U17 teams

HOW? - Players must sign up on this page. Players will be expected to make the majority of practices, complete an out-of-practice workout program, follow team guidelines during practices as well as at the event, and always show up with a positive attitude.  Players will need to be active USAU members.

DETAILS: 

If you sign up, you will be asked to attend practices throughout the summer, which will be led by your respective coaches.  Each team plans to have scrimmages against local Club teams.

Travel costs will be significant for the Travel team players. There will be fundraising to offset some of the costs, and we hope to secure several need-based scholarships again. If you have any financial hardship that would restrict your attendance at Randall's Island, NY please fill out the following form. Financial aid requests will be reviewed as they are received.

USAU Player Requirements:

1. Each player on the roster must be a USA Ultimate member in good standing at all times during the event.  Players may not pay one-time event fees, or Affiliate Membership fees, for Warm-up events.
2. All players must not turn 17 on the U17 team and 20 for the U20 team or be older during the year of the USAU Youth Club Championships.
3. Players must have either:
   -  Participated in the USAU High School State Championships or State Qualifying Event during the academic year immediately preceding the USAU Youth Club Championships, OR
   -  Participated in a USAU-sanctioned youth club league with a start date during the 12 months prior to the current Youth Club Championships and been enrolled in high school or middle school during the academic year immediately preceding the USAU Youth Club Championships.
4. Player Eligibility Exception Process: Players that do not meet the above requirements but wish to participate may be granted an exception and are encouraged to apply for one. These situations require the completion of a Player Exception Application (FORM LINKED HERE). 
   Examples include, but are not limited to:
   - Players who do not meet Rule 3a or 3b above, but are enrolled at a school whose top (Varsity/A) team participated in the most recent USAU High School State Championship or Qualifying Event will be allowed to participate (must complete form linked above in Player Eligibility Exception Process).
5. All players who have not yet attended High School and do not meet Rule 3a or 3b above will be allowed to participate (must complete form linked above in Player Eligibility Exception Process).
6. All other players will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
7. USAU reserves the right to determine whether players on applying teams meet the above criteria.

Northeast Youth Cup, New York, New York, August 7th & 8th, 2021

FIELD LOCATION: Randall’s Island, New York New York (most fields will be on the south end of the island)

TRANSPORATION: Teams will have two 12-15 person vans to use for transportation to NY and back to Philadelphia. All teams will travel to NY on Friday, August 6th. All teams will travel back to Philadelphia on Sunday, August 8th. 

HOTEL: The hotel rooms will be split by team and gender with 4 athletes in each room. The hotel booking is still in progress and will be updated as soon as possible.
